BACKGROUND HISTORY AND HEALING MISSION

The front view of Ozanam House, the Catholic Orphanage Centre where Master Wong used to deliver many fresh fishes on many occasions in the past years.

A Man of Charity

There was a time when, Mrs. Vaz head of Rumah Ozanam, an orphanage, called him "The Fisherman" because for a few years, he caught and delivered many fresh fishes to the orphans, sometimes, fishing the whole night till nearly dawn, in the Petaling Jaya lake.  On one occasion, Mrs. Vaz, herself, counted what Master Wong caught, and delivered to the orphanage, over five hundred fishes in a single night, with only a hook and a rod, all alone, by himself within one night till nearly dawn.  He also donated catches of fishes to other places such as the Shelter Homes and old folks homes due to plentiful catches. Master Wong dispenses charity in many forms of donation e.g. in food, money and services.  Some of the ways he does is to give free healing treatment and training to the poor, such as the Cheras Old Folks Home under the nuns - Little Sisters of the Poor and also to all the clergy, nuns, brothers and other religious orders so that they can serve God and  humanity better if they are healthy.  Refunding the seminar fees to those students who helped to bring in more sick people (that is why Master Wong’s Qi-Synergy Company loses money every year and also due to high overhead expenses).  Raising  money from the students and donating own money to worthwhile projects requested by priests.  Helping the Stella Maris Convent nuns to raise some money to donate to their school for the poor in Kota Kinabalu (Keningau).  Even donating money to students instead of collecting fees for expenses e.g. Mrs.Wong (Father Thomas Shum’s cook who had cancer and received free treatment as well as personal cash donation from Master Wong) of Stella Maris Church Tanjong Aru in Kota Kinabalu (Father Thomas Shum-Parish Priest) and raising money and help from the students, to shift her family and belongings to Macgatal from the Church (after her job termination).  He has also donated to other charity organisations and welfare homes in cash, and in kind.  Master Wong does all that without any reservation for race, religion or social rank and he firmly believes, to help people to help themselves.   He always does not tolerate "LAZINESS" and "DOES NOT CARE" ATTITUDE.  He now dispenses "compassion with wisdom" as a lot of people do not appreciate when help is being given too freely, and they may even suspect there are ulterior motives behind them.

This picture was taken in September 1998 showing Master Wong with Mrs. Vaz (Indian lady with green dress) and Pauline Yoong (Master Wong’s training assistant) in the compound of Ozanam House.  Mrs Vaz is the head of the orphanage, a very kind lady and very devoted to her calling.

Master Wong instructing Anne Christine age 37, (white blouse and yellow skirt, bespectacled).  She was not an inmate, and not a nun, but assisting the nuns in the Old Folks’ Home.  She had arthritis at the age of 7 years old and suffered the pains and was on medication.  After 2 ½ months on the Evergreen Qi-Synergy Program, she was very happy when she told Master Wong she had no more pains and does not need to take medication anymore.

An old folk inmate Michael “Pendek” of age 74 years old (blue T-shirt and white shorts and bespectacled) in a Qi-Synergy posture.  He had hypertension but told Master Wong about 2 ½ months later that his doctor informed him that he does not require hypertension pills anymore as he had no more high blood pressure.
